Mountain View Staging is a full-service audio visual
production company headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Formed in 2000 when Rick Frandsen, Peter Johnson and Peter Jones decided to
join forces and create a new company to better serve the technical needs of
the booming event industry. Mountain View Staging
specializes in all aspects of production: Audio, Video, Lighting, Labor, Staging,
Event Design and Special FX.

We travel regularly throughout the United States, doing production of all
sizes in places both exotic and mundane. We offer
creative solutions to the challenges of both large and small events. In the
past, we have designed and executed corporate events
for Fortune 500 companies such as Hewlett Packard, Ebay, General Motors and
Intel as well as companies like Disney, Sony, Macys and Zion’s Bank.

Peter Johnson (President) is well versed in all aspects
of technical production. His background is video projection and display,
but he also has substantial skills and experience in video production, lighting,
audio and staging. He started his career in corporate events with the WordPerfect
Corporation doing video, audio and lighting. Peter spends his free time camping,
Jeeping, riding off-road motorcycles, ATVs and boating.
Rick Frandsen (Business Manager) has substantial experience
in video projection and computer systems, holds a Masters of Business Administration
degree from the University of Utah and a Bachelors in Marketing degree from
Brigham Young University.
Rick brings his skills of business organization and management to Mountain
View Staging. This is one of many successful
businesses Rick has helped organize and build from the ground up. When he
isn't working, Rick enjoys traveling with his family, playing and coaching
soccer and working some more!
Peter Jones (Production Manager) began his technical career in 1985 in theater focusing his talents on lighting design. He continued to advance his skills in lighting while expanding his knowledge to include audio engineering and recording, CAD, video, scenery, rigging and logistics. If he can ever find time off, Jones likes to ride his mountain bike, motorcycles, ATVs and travel.
