This special awards session was held at the Wilshire Ebell Theater in Hollywood California. Event design was by 15/40 Productions. Mountain View Staging provided lighting equipment, labor, programming and consultation.

The challenge with this event was creating a flawless awards show without any rehearsal for a very discriminating client.

Video content was provided, so the inspriation for the lighting looks was gained by coordinating with the video backdrop.

15/40 Productions provided a set that incorporated lighting and 3-D layers. In-house lighting equipment was used in conjunction with automated lighting from MVS.

Special guests and honorees for the evening included Bono, The Weavers, members of Cream, Al Schmidt and Chris Blackwell.

Honored in absentia were David Bowie, Richard Pryor, Robert Johnson, Merle Haggard and many others

After the awards ceremony, guests were treated to a VIP reception. MVS provided atmospheric lighting for the party.
